This week Eloise made a successful live on-campus debut as they rocked the “Live @Noon” concert series at CSU Hayward. “We thought we might be lost in the fog.” said Michelle. -An unusually heavy layer had settled in that morning over the campus. -But just as noontime rolled around the sun broke through, students poured out from the surrounding buildings and the courtyard came to life. After a lively set, students and staff alike rushed the merch table as the band promoted their album and May Cyrus and Michelle mingled with their new found fans.

The Album
For May Ann Pescante, Michelle Torrez and Cyrus Butler, it was the culmination of three years of finding the time and money to be in the studio. But because so much time had passed since the beginning of the project, the band had found that their songs had completely transformed from what they originally had in mind. "After so much time," May explains, "everything just started to sound so different from what we had originally intended. It felt different, and then it started to mean different things. Semantics is all about meaning and changes in meaning --that title felt appropriate."
